Obviously made in USA, 22 fret maple neck (body-thru as well). The controls that came with the guitar were 1 volume and two tone knobs, but i had it placed with EMGs and the controls were then 2 volumes and 1 tone knobs, hey who uses the thing anyway? Came with two Seymour Duncans: SH-2 in the neck, and TB-4 in the bridge. Poplar body.
Overall this is a killer guitar. Strictly metal, really good for the old school thrash I play (ie Metallica, Megadeth, Anthrax, Slayer, Pantera). Ive always loved the aggressive look of it and its powerful bright sounds, but i wish it had more low end. Its tough to get any low end, even with pickups like the DiMarzio Tone Zone, but i can definetly settle for its awesome lead tone. It takes a while to get used to playin on this body style because it doesnt contour like the Les Paul and the neck is really slick and kinda wide which is good, but it took me a while to get used to it. Other than that, no complaints.
This is the 1997 year model made in Japan. A 22 fret rosewood neck. Solidtop.I think it has passive jackson j-90 (stock pickup).
Want to get a cheap but nice model from Agile Guitars as well.
